Cohesion

selected works from the series

Cohesion in Chemistry is the intermolecular attraction between like-molecules. Also called cohesive attraction or cohesive force, it is the action of like molecules sticking together, being mutually attractive. For example, several water molecules that gather to a waterdrop.

Social cohesion is the bond between members of a community or society. Group cohesiveness arises when bonds link members of a social group to one another and to a group as a whole.

How can social isolation be overcome and how can the cohesion of the resulting communities be strengthened?
