Breakthrough Moments
selected works from the series
My series seeks to capture the moment in which complex ways of thinking begin to open and new perspectives emerge.
The images in my series „Breakthrough Moments“ are composed of multiple overlapping layers of ink, each covering the entire surface of the paper. Every layer contains at least one deliberately placed opening—some clearly defined, others seemingly in the process of forming.
These layers can be understood as representations of dominant thinking patterns. The openings within them mark moments of permeability—instances in which rigid worldviews begin to dissolve and new perspectives become visible. These visual “ruptures” are metaphorical breakthroughs: they open spaces for transformation, for alternative narratives, and for making the previously unseen visible.
The series invites viewers to recognize moments of rupture in conventional thought structures and to cultivate a mindset that enables a deeper understanding of complex interconnections.
